I know there has got to be so many great perks to staying on property, but what are they? Is it really worth the extra money? Is it as magical as they all say?

The benefits for staying on Disneyland Property are nearly endless! Your hotel on a Disney vacation is more than finding a place to sleep and shower, it is a place to relax, rejuvenate an to enjoy. We have no doubts that you won't thoroughly enjoy your stay at any of the three Disneyland Resorts.
Extra Magic Hour- Each morning that you are staying at a Disney Hotel you are given and extra hour in one of the two parks! You can get into Disneyland or Disney's California Adventure park an hour early each morning.
Separate Entrance- No more worries about long security lines! At the Disney Resort you have access go through your own private entrance with no stress. Feeling tired mid-afternoon? Head back for a nap and get ready for a night at the park! Got soaked on Splash mountain? Run to your room and change into dry clothes within minutes!
Souvenirs Delivered- have your packages and gifts that you buy in the park delivered to your hotel, no need to carry everything you buy around the park all day, send it to the hotel and it will be waiting for you at the front desk each night when you return to your hotel.
Movies Under the Stars- Check your hotel activities calendar for magical movie nights for you and your family to enjoy.
Pool Parties occur daily at the hotel pools! Enjoy a drink in a relaxing cabana while your kiddos engage in exciting games and music at the pool with energetic cast members to entertain them.
Character Dining: There are 3 options of different Character Dining locations at the Disneyland Resorts. Storytellers Cafe, Disney's Grand Californian; Goofy's Kitchen, Disneyland Hotel; Disney's PCH Grill, Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel.
Exchange Foreign Currencies at the Front Desk in the main lobby of your hotel.
In-Room Celebrations, convince your loved ones that some of their favorite Disney friends dropped off a surprise just for them! Celebrate birthdays, first visits, anniversaries and any other occasion with a variety of Disney gifts or flower arrangements.
Downtown Disney- Enjoy shopping, dining, and entertainment at Downtown Disney, only a short stroll from any of the Disney Hotels.
Spa- Relax and Rejuvenate at the Mandara Spa, located inside the Grand Californian Hotel.
Get Up & Go Power Walk- Each morning you can join others on a FAST- Paced 2-mile power walk through Disney California Adventure Park before it opens! Enjoy a walk with new friends as you are lead through the park by a cast member that gives all the fun facts and info that any Disney fan would want to know.
The Grand Quest (at The Grand Californian) go to Gust Services desk any time to receive you clues to uncover the secret answers in a fun-filled scavenger hunt throughout the hotel! Receive a special treat when you complete your quest. Great for families with children ages 3-12 years-old.

We love the Disneyland Hotel, it is so magical! Each tower has a different theme, but the guest rooms are all the same. The bed board in the room is my favorite part of this hotel. The bed board lights up little twinkle lights and plays a magical tune, it's beautiful and magical. Everything was fantastic and exceeded all expectations. <3^_^

The Cabanas at the Disney's Grand Californian are absolutely incredible. We loved booking a cabana for a day, we were given space with lounge chairs, sofas, towels, a T.V., drinks, waiters, a safe, a complementary fruit platter, and so much more. On one of our off days we decided to book a Cabana instead of going to a Character Dinner. It was so fun to relax in the shade while we sipped our delicious drinks and ordered from the absolutely delicious meals offered on their menu. We will be doing this each time we visit the park, it was a relaxing day we could relive again and again.

We have always stayed on property and have not regretted it once! The magic doesn't have to end when you leave the park! We love finding little chocolates with the beds turned down when we get home every night. The T.V. is turned to a personalized channel with all the details you need to know for the next day. We were always prepared with weather info, event times, happy, calming Disney music, perfect to go to sleep to.

The Disney Hotels offer Preferred Reservation Access for their guests. Meaning, that you have the opportunity to book at select restaurants after the public is told that reservations are unavailable. You won't miss out on anything, you can book no more than 60 days and at least 2 days prior to your stay.
